SHIELDING SYSTEMS

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE SUN....

TYPES OF SHIELDING SYSTEMS AVAILABLE

OVERHEAD AND EXTERNAL BLINDS

Particularly noteworthy are the systems of overhead and external roller shutters. It is worth considering their installation of roller shutters already at the stage of ordering window joinery, due to the fact that at this stage of your investment it is easiest to match the appropriate roller shutter box, which we can then freely build in. Roller shutters have many important functions to perform, here are the most important ones:

  • Protection from excessive solar radiation
  • Room darkening
  • Maintaining the right temperature indoors
  • Ensuring privacy
  • Modern design of the house
  • Ensuring security

TL1000 is a system that can be used in both newly built and retrofitted facilities. The inspection cover of this overhead roller shutter is mounted on the underside of the box. This gives you the possibility to build the box also from inside the apartment without worrying about service access. External overhead roller shutters can be mounted to windows whose maximum thickness of the window frame does not exceed 95 mm. Their operation is both manual with a tape and electric with a switch or remote control. TL1000 overhead roller shutters do not come with a mosquito net.

TP1000K is an overhead roller shutter mounted on wide window frames to 202 mm, which can be further expanded to 264 mm. This makes it possible to increase the depth of the box by 31 mm or 62 mm. With this system, the inspection flap can be made from the front (when mounted on a wide window frame) or from the bottom (when the box is built on the inside). TP1000K overhead roller shutter is operated electrically with a switch/pilot or manually using tapes. The box comes in a version with or without a mosquito net.

The IT2000 system combines the advantages of an external roller shutter with an overhead roller shutter. The main advantage of this system is the fact that we can install it without enlarging the window openings and at the same time enclose the box so that we can achieve a visual effect like in the case of overhead roller shutters. In this type of roller shutter the whole box remains outside the building and service access is provided by an inspection hatch at the bottom. It comes in versions with and without a mosquito net. The IT2000 roller shutter can be mounted on an isolated lintel (styrodur, styrofoam, thermal matting, etc.) or on a pvc system extension.

Exterior roller shutters ST2000, RL2000, OS2000, OL20000 are mainly mounted on existing windows or facades. This type of system is the simplest solution technically and economically. The size of the box depends on the height of the entire roller shutter and the type of armor. The choice of installation method often depends on it. The lowered roller shutter is an additional closure of the building opening and is also a partition with insulating properties. Rigid polyurethane foam filling the profiles provides additional thermal insulation. The layer of air formed between the lowered roller shutter armor and the window or door hinders the exchange of heat between the interior and the external environment. This saves the heat energy needed to heat the room, while on hot days it protects against excessive heating. There is a version without a mosquito net and with a mosquito net.

FACADE BLINDS

Facade blinds play a protective role for large glazing and modern buildings. Thanks to their presence, we can very simply and intuitively decide the intensity of natural light entering the room. Importantly, in the case of large windows, facade blinds also retain their insulating properties.
